Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda

Among the interesting pagodas to visit in Myanmar, one is the “Phaung Daw Oo” Pagoda which lies in the Inle Lake. Inside the shrine there are five small gilded images of the Buddha, but it is difficult to make out the figures distinctly. One can attend the annual festival that is held here around October/November for a better understanding of the local culture.
