The Myanmar International Convention Centre is located in Zabuthiri Township, in Nay Pyi Taw. It has a floor space of 312, 000 sq. ft. and is spread over 16 acres of land. The MICC has a plenary hall that can accommodate up to 1900 persons. Built by the People’s Republic of China and completed on 15 March 2010, the building has listening rooms, holding rooms, meeting rooms, VIP summit room, news briefing room, a singing room and a banquet hall with the capacity to accommodate 720 persons.
